Most homes that are less then 3 stories are eligible for grants under the
ecoENERGY program. There are five steps to be eligable for a grant:

Contact a qualified energy advisor to setup an appointment
Ensure all ashes are cleaned out of your fireplace prior to the evaluation.
Have the Energy Expert perform an energy evaluation of your home.
You will be mailed a report with the details of your evaluation and a complete action plan (including grant values).
Select the improvements from your home energy action plan that you would like to complete.
Implement the recommended energy upgrades within 18 months. (find a contractor)
Schedule an Energy Expert to perform your post-retrofit evaluation.
Clean the ashes out of your fireplace. Ensure that you have fully completed all the renovations you would like to complete.
Complete the post-retrofit evaluation to confirm your new energy rating and to have VerdaTech Energy Management and Consulting submit your grant application on your behalf.
Wait for up to 90 days to receive your cheque based on the eligible.
