Available Funding

$10 per gigajoule of estimated annual energy savings
up to 25 percent of eligible project costs
to a maximum of $50,000 per project

Natural Resources Canada will pay the total eligible incentive after you have completed the project and NRCan has verified the work. Funding is available for improvements to:

Building envelope: insulation, windows, doors, etc
Interior and Exterior lighting
Energy Management Control Systems (EMCS): direct digital controls(DDC), occupancy/motion sensors, thermostats, photocells, and direct load controls
Water heating: water heaters, heat pumps, solar, heat traps, needed repairs
Motors
HVAC: chillers and boilers, economizers, control systems, variable air-volume systems, AC, heat recovery systems, etc.
Replaceable equipment / major appliances essential to operations: refrigeration equipment, dishwashers, vending machines, etc.
