Most homes that are less then 3 stories are eligible for grants under the
ecoENERGY program. There are five steps to be eligable for a grant:
Perform an energy evaluation of your home through a qualified energy advisor
Select the improvements from your home energy action checklist.
Implement the recommended energy upgrades within 18 months.
Schedule an Energy Expert to perform your post-retrofit evaluation, to confirm
your new energy rating and to submit your application on your behalf.
Wait for up to 90 days to receive your cheque based on the eligible
upgrades
that were performed in step 3.
