Build for the future - Build your house with the environment in mind.
Energuide The EnerGuide program is directed towards new homes that are being planned for construction. The certified VerdaTech Energy Experts will help you plan your home to be more energy efficient. Once your home is complete, and after doing a follow up assessment of your home, VerdaTech Energy Experts will certify your home with an official EnerGuide label.

EnerGuide Process

  1. The EnerGuide rating service starts with an analysis of your new house plans by a VerdaTech EnerGuide rating service Energy Expert.
  2. The Energy Expert recommends energy-saving upgrades and works with your builder to develop a report that lists various cost-effective options.
  3. Your builder then estimates the upgrade work and provides you with a price.
  4. When construction is done, the VerdaTech EnerGuide Energy Expert verifies the applied energy upgrades and performs a blower door test.
  5. After the data has been collected, your home receives its EnerGuide rating.
  6. You're provided an official label to display the rating on your home's furnace or electrical box.
